EJM are proud to introduce a new innovative piece of equipment to the South East that is revolutionising tree removal in the industry. The Merlo Roto 40:30 with Westtech CS750 Grapple Saw can safely dismantle any tree without having to climb them which eliminates the possibility of injuries to personnel.
The Westtech can cut timbers up to a capacity of 750mm (30 inches) which simplifies the process for tree removal, not only does it save time, reduces manpower but ultimately improves safety. It eliminates damage to the ground as no timbers are falling out of the canopy.
The Grapple Saw and Merlo enable us to cut down a tree without having to climb them, a major consideration for Working at Height regulations, the two combined can efficiently and safely cut the tree down without any fuss and reducing the exposure to risk.
Westtech Woodcracker CS750
Specially designed for tree felling safety work with a 360 rotation. With a powerful grip for safe holding and having a cutting capacity of 750mm (30 inches).
Space Arm
43m cherry picker extention with a 23m outreach that can take you to new heights and fits on the end of the Merlo’s boom via a safety fitting. This Space Arm has a 310 slew allowing for access around objects and can only be operated from the basket.
Box Winch
A useful attachment which allows the Merlo to turn into a small mobile crane. With a maximum lift of 4 tonnes and an outreach of 25 metres.
